Tacoma Narrows Half-Day Kayak Trip

Gig Harbor Rent-A-Boat and Charters will be offering a picnic excursion. Take part in a kayak adventure you will never forget! Join Gay, a long-time Gig Harbor resident and avid kayaker on a half-day trip along the shoreline to Narrows Park. Watch for seals and eagles and take in the serenity of being out on the water. Travel underneath the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, while paddling over “Galloping Gertie.”

Once at the park paddlers will be treated with a picnic spread complete with cheese and tea sandwiches. After beach combing and paddling back, paddlers will receive a photo memento of the trip.

Trip days and times vary based on tides.

Holiday Lights Tour

December 15th, 2012. 5pm

Join us for a lighted kayak holiday tour and experience the magical Lighted Boat Parade in Gig Harbor. This is a guided tour with a Gig Harbor resident who enjoys being on the water and wants to share this night’s experience with others. Bring your favorite mug and we will supply the hot chocolate. Your kayak will be decorated with Christmas lights upon your arrival.

If you would like to join us earlier and add your own decorations, come by the dock after 4pm. and join in the fun.
